  • Cassie Simmelink, Maid Of Honor
    Sister of the Bride
    Cassie is currently a senior studying Communication at John Carroll University, in Cleveland, Ohio, where she also plays Varsity Tennis. Cassie teaches sailing during her summers; graduated from Avon Lake High School in 2008, and from Culver Summer Naval School in 2005.
  • Darcy Taylor, Bridesmaid
    Cousin of the Bride
    Darcy is a Junior Analyst for Starbucks at TracyLocke in Wilton, Connecticut, and is and is a 2008 graduate of Colby College, in Waterville, Maine. Darcy majored in Biology and Anthropology in college, and loves to dance, sail and travel. Darcy and Melissa graduated together from Culver Summer Naval School.
  • Stacy Taylor, Bridesmaid
    Cousin of the Bride
    Stacy graduated from Gettysburg College, in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania this past spring where she majored in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Stacy is currently working at Banana Republic before heading south for the winter with her horse to Aiken, South Carolina where she will be a working student for her eventing trainer Mikki Kuchta. Stacy plans on attending veterinary school the fall of 2012. She graduated from Culver Summer Naval School with Cassie in 2005.
  • Janelle Chockla, Bridesmaid
    Sister of the Groom
    Janelle is a Practicing Doctor of Physical Therapy, working in MD. She began her education at Western Carolina University, where she earned her BS in Psychology and her masters in PT. In 2009, Janelle graduated from Temple University with her doctorate in PT, and she is now pursuing a manual therapy certification. Janelle currently lives near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, enjoys hikes with her adorable dog Mokey, and loves running 5Ks. Janelle is always up for adventures of all kinds with family and friends.

  • Joe Houghton, Best Man
    Joe is a close college friend of the groom and works as a process engineer for Hess in New Jersey. Joe and Aaron were roommates for two years during their time at the University of Delaware where they graduated together from the chemical engineering department in 2007. Joe currently works in a refinery at Hess and is interested in oil exploration and recovery.
  • Andrew Chockla, Groomsman
    Brother of the groom.
    Andrew lives in Culowhee, North Carolina, where he works as a mathematics teacher at his alma mater (Western Carolina University). He also teaches at a local community college. Andrew and his wife, Gosia, have a one-year-old daughter, Natalie – Aaron’s first niece!
  • Mike Russo, Groomsman
    Mike and Aaron have been close friends from the first day of school at the University of Delaware where they lived across the hall from one another in their freshman dorm. Mike graduated with a degree in psychology in 2007 and currently works for Monteleone Fibres Ltd., near New York City where he lives with his wife, Erin.
  • Robert Kron, Groomsman
    Rob is one of the groom’s oldest friends. The two spent part of their youth growing up in North Carolina where they played hockey together for several years.; they have kept in touch ever since. Rob lives in Washington DC where he works as a foreign policy analyst. Much of his time is spent in Eastern Europe for work.
